Join New York Tech Libraries for AI Week 2026, October 26–30. Hear perspectives on AI in research, teaching, and information seeking from speakers ranging from PhD students to faculty and librarians. The featured keynote is Dan Russell, a researcher in artificial intelligence, human–computer interaction, and search with nearly 40 years of experience, including more than 17 years at Google. Author of The Joy of Search, he will explore how AI is changing the way people search for information and conduct research online.
The week concludes with an in-person Prompt-a-thon on Friday, October 30, at Startup Tech Central on the Old Westbury campus. Participants will put their prompting skills to work on practical challenges. Registration is limited and required for the Prompt-a-thon, and participants should bring a laptop computer.
