The Support Staff Division of the Nassau County Library Association is seeking people to serve on the 2027 Executive Board.
The following positions are open:
VP/President Elect (2 year commitment)
Treasure (2 year term)
Recording Secretary (1 year)
Corresponding Secretary (1 year)
Support Staff are the backbone of every library, ensuring it operates smoothly, safely, and with
exceptional service to the community. Our division represents the wide range of professionals
who keep libraries running day-to-day, including facilities teams (maintenance and custodial),
secretarial staff, clerks, and public relations personnel.
We’re looking for dedicated colleagues who want to collaborate, share ideas, and help shape
professional development programs and meetups throughout 2027. No prior experience with
committee work is required—just a willingness to connect with others, contribute your
perspective, and support the work that strengthens library operations across Nassau County.
To participate, you must be a current member in good standing of the Nassau County Library
