The Secretary to the Library Board of Trustees (aka Operations Director) works alongside the Library Director as part of the Library’s two-person administrative leadership team. The position oversees the Library’s financial operations, procurement, facilities, and administrative functions, while providing support and guidance on personnel matters. The Operations Director supervises and coordinates the Library’s finance and facilities teams, reviews and approves financial and procurement transactions, oversees building operations and maintenance, and serves as a liaison with Village departments. The position is responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day operations and presents financial and facilities reports to the Library Board.
