SLA Engineering Library Student Award sponsored by SPIE Digital Library
This award is for students enrolled in a curriculum of library or information science at least part time (two or more courses).
The award is $1200 which covers the in-person cost of the 2024 SLA Annual Conference and Expo student registration and stipend of remaining amount for travel, lodging and related expenses. The Annual Conference is being held July 13 – 16, 2024 at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI.
Deadline for Submission: April 19, 2024.
Qualifications:
The SLA Engineering Library Student Award sponsored by SPIE Digital Library will be given to the qualified student who submits a personal statement of up to 1000 words on how they believe this award will benefit them personally and professionally.
The winner of the award must be an SLA member in good standing by the time of the annual conference and the award presentation.
