Library professionals throughout Westchester County and New York state are welcome to join the organization, which also awards two Professional Development scholarships to WLA members every year. Most of WLA’s programs have been free ever since we switched to an online platform in March. A free workshop on “How Do You Create a Professional Resume” is being offered on Monday, November 30, at 4:00pm. Non-members are welcome to register for the program.
Our Mid-Winter Conference is scheduled on Wednesday, February 3 and will feature guest speakers Hillel Arnold (Rockefeller Archive Center), Robert Cartolano (Columbia University), Lisa Kropp (Lindenhurst Memorial Library) and Kathryn Shaughnessy (St. John’s University).
