Are you an academic librarian or master’s degree student with an interview on the horizon? Feel like you could use a little practice and a chance to explore strategies for handling tough or tricky questions?
The ACRL/NY New Librarians Discussion Group (NLDG) and the Mentoring Program invite you to an interview question practice session. Participants will be asked to respond to interview questions that have been identified as tricky or difficult. You will answer as if in a job interview and everyone at the end will share what they learned from the session. Participants will also receive takeaway resources on interview preparedness and identifying your marketable skills. Please come to the event prepared to interact and converse.
This event is free and open to all current members of ACRL/NY only. As a special bonus for our registrants, you can join our organization now and your membership will extend all the way through to December 2021!
