The Suffolk Cooperative Library System (SCLS) seeks a customer-service-oriented, tech-savvy librarian
to join our ILS team as PALS ILS Operations Librarian.
The PALS ILS Operations Librarian is responsible for the daily management, configuration, and support of the Innovative Interfaces Sierra Integrated Library System (ILS) and various library applications. The candidate must have a graduate degree (MLS) from an ALA-accredited library school or currently enrolled in an MLS program, having completed one year of library school. Public library experience is preferred.
SCLS is a 56- member library system in Suffolk County, NY. We are a supportive employer with opportunities to learn and grow in this position. Starting salary for this position is $51,572. Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm; nights and weekends as needed. Please see the attached job description for details.
