National Coming Out Day Campaign -October 8, 2021

LGBT Network is proud to announce the launch of its 20th Annual National Coming Out Day Campaign on Friday, October 8, 2021 – a signature effort that empowers communities of people to come out in support of the LGBT community!   Attached is this year’s new poster design!

LGBT Network created this Campaign in 2002, and since that time has pioneered this annual community organizing strategy to engage more than 900 institutions and nearly one million participants in 2019.  The Campaign has helped create safer schools, workplaces, places of worship, and other organizations by empowering people to “come out for safe spaces.”  People and organizations participate in the Campaign by utilizing materials from our FREE Campaign Organizing Kit – wearing a ribbon, trans pride ribbon, and/or Ally or pronoun sticker to show their support to the LGBT Community.  Organizers also display our Campaign posters, distribute education materials, and invite others to come out for safe spaces, too.

Be a part of our Campaign and join our movement to create safer spaces for LGBT people!  There are several ways to participate and help:

  • Sign-up to receive your Campaign Organizing Kit for your school, business, sports group, place of worship, or organization – it’s FREE!
  • Volunteer to prepare our Coming Out Kits at one of our centers
  • Sponsor or Donate to help keep it FREE and accessible to all

Please contact LGBT Network with any additional questions – either by replying to this e-mail, or sending an e-mail to [email protected].  We sincerely hope for, and look forward to, your participation in this year’s Campaign.
