You are invited, but no longer required, to attend the orientation. If you would like to come and meet with the faculty, the new students, and your colleagues, please come for dinner at 6pm. The program updates segment of the orientation will be available through the LIS 270 Colloquium web site afterwards. Agenda
4:00 – 5:00pm: Laptop distribution and orientation. Students unable to attend in-person will have their laptops shipped via Fedex.
5:00 – 6:00pm: Presentations by the instructors of LIS 204 Introduction to Library & Information Science, LIS 205 Information Sources & Services, and an overview of LIS 270 Colloquium (includes Blackboard).

6:00 – 6:30pm: Dinner (A vegetarian option is provided. If you would like to request a kosher or gluten-free meal, please email [email protected] with your request.)
6:30 – 7:00pm: Program updates.
Webex access is provided for students attending online. Online students may submit questions through Webex’ chat feature, by emailing [email protected], or the faculty directly.
