ACRL 2021 Virtual Conference Scholarship Deadline Extended – submission deadline: October 23, 2020

ACRL has extended the deadline to apply for a scholarship to attend the ACRL 2021 Virtual Conference until Friday, October 23.

The ACRL 2021 Scholarship program provides opportunities for the academic and research library community to expand their professional horizons, update their skills and knowledge, and learn more about current issues and developments in academic and research libraries by participating in the premiere ACRL professional development experience.

Scholarships are available to early and mid-career librarians, library professional and support staff, library school students and recent graduates, and ALA Spectrum Scholars. All scholarships include complimentary registration for the virtual conference.

ACRL announced on October 1 that the face-to-face portion of ACRL 2021 Conference originally scheduled for April 14-17, 2021, in Seattle, Washington, has been canceled because of the serious health risks posed by COVID-19. The virtual ACRL 2021 Conference will be held over approximately the same dates in April 2021, and more details are forthcoming. Active scholarship applications will automatically be considered for the virtual conference.

To apply, visit the scholarships section of the ACRL 2021 website. For questions or more information about the ACRL 2021 Scholarship program, contact Chase Ollis at [email protected].
