From the Director regarding the closure of LIS 269 Internship sites during the current public health crisis:
The internship will have to be completed when the site reopens. Financial aid should not be affected. An INC (grade of “incomplete”) may not be necessary, and even if necessary, as long as the course is completed within the University’s window for completing Spring INCs, financial aid is not impactedJames Vorbach, via email. March 10, 2020
In the event that an internship site is closed during the internship, the intern should work with the internship site coordinator and the Faculty Advisor to either devise a plan to complete the internship remotely, or a timeline to complete the internship in an appropriate timeline.
Students may reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for further support.
