From an email:
I
am the co-chair for NJLA Leadership and Education Committee. Every year
we offer NJ students enrolled in a LIS program an opportunity to
participate in NJLA’s internship program. I am reaching out to see if I
can talk to anyone about the program. We would also appreciate any help
distributing the internship application to your students.
If you are not familiar with the program, NJLA’s Committee Internship
Program (CIP) was first introduced in 2013. The program provides an
opportunity for library school students to become familiar with the New
Jersey Library Association, particularly its committees; to network with
peers and library leaders from around the state; and to participate in
service learning. CIP offers the possibility to connect, to learn, to
succeed, to advance, and to lead.
The application deadline is September 27, 2019.
