Cataloging and Description Practices Informed by Rationale in a Small LAM Environment

DLIS Alumna Tess Colwell authored the chapter “Cataloging and Description Practices Informed by Rationale in a Small LAM Environment” in the book Organization, Representation and Description through the Digital Age edited by faculty members Christine M. Angel and Caroline Fuchs.

Tess Colwell is the Digital Projects Archivist at Brooklyn Historical Society where she manages the existing digital assets, facilitates ingest of born-digital collections, and digitizes two-dimentional collection items. Tess earned her B.S. in Visual Communication from Ohio University, an M.A. in Humanities from Hood College, and most recently an M.S. L.I.S from St. John’s University. She is passionate about photography, history, and Brooklyn.
