Exhibiting items with historical significance is a part of the educational mission of many cultural institutions and special libraries.  This program will cover the preparation and special needs of commonly exhibited materials such as textiles, photographs, documents, books and other paper based items.  Specific topics relating to access and preservation include: item stabilization, environmental control, security, proper handling, display dos and don’ts, and much more.  Plus: Q&A tour of the current and future exhibitions at the museum.
