Dear colleagues,

This three day event (September 7 – 9, 2017) is expected to draw over 500 participants and promises to be the best REFORMA National Conference ever. RNC VI will offer a multitude of opportunities, including timely and informative pre-conference seminars, author readings, continuing education workshops, enlightening panel discussions, vendor exhibits and fun pachangas! Registration is open

REFORMA has been advocating and championing literacy, life-long learning and cultural awareness through vibrant libraries for over 40 years!   In 2017, our association will celebrate its ongoing commitment to library services to the Spanish speaking and Latino communities by holding its 6th National Library Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, September 7-9, 2017.  With the theme “Building community: saving lives / Construyendo comunidades: salvando vidas,”  RNC VI  promises a relevant and important forum to engage in skill building workshops, keynotes from literary and policy voices and vendor exhibits. So mark your calendars, save your dollars and make plans to visit Puerto Rico from September 7–9, 2017 to experience an unforgettable conference. Puerto Rico is also the location of one of REFORMA’s active chapters. This will be the first time REFORMA holds a conference in La Isla del Encanto “The Island of Enchantment” in an effort to keep library professionals at the forefront of trends and provide networks amongst librarians, nationally and internationally. See you in Puerto Rico!
