NJLA Committee Internship Program -application deadline: June 16, 2017

From an email:

My name is John Wallace and I am the co-coordinator for the New Jersey Library Association’s Committee Internship Program. I write to ask for help in advertising the CIP to your New Jersey based MSLIS graduate students. A mention on your student listserv or newsletter would help the Program tremendously. As Program Director, I hope you might be able to help.

A note about the program:

In its fourth year, the CIP offers library school students the opportunity to become active in the state-wide professional association, particularly its committees; to network with peers and library leaders from around the state; and to participate in service learning. Each successful applicant will be appointed as an intern to a single committee for a term of one year.

Requirements for participation include: (1) enrollment in library school, (2) membership in NJLA, (3) no previous NJLA committee appointments.

The deadline to apply is June 16, 2017. Limited openings available.

Apply at: https://njla.org/content/cipapplication

Discounted student memberships to ALA & NJLA are available here: https://www.ala.org/cfapps/jntapp/index.cfm?urlcode=ST-NJ

Any help you could lend would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

John Wallace
