Subject: Volunteer Opportunities at IIIF’s Conference May 10 – 13
From Tuesday, May 10 through Friday, May 13, the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) community is hosting a series of events to discuss the power and potential of interoperable image delivery over the Web.
The conference will showcase how institutions are leveraging IIIF to reduce total cost and time to deploy image delivery solutions, while simultaneously improving end user experience with a new host of rich and dynamic features.
The event’s organizers are seeking volunteer assistance to help the conference run smoothly. Tasks include staffing reception tables and ushering folks in and out of breaks, etc. during the programs at both MoMA and NYAM.
IIIF is gaining traction in the field; volunteering is sure to give you an early view into a growing movement.
