|General Summary of Responsibilities||The Dewar College of Education and Human Services invites applications for a renewable, non-tenure track faculty position for the Department of Library and Information Studies. Rank is Instructor.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in Library and Information Science to include both core courses within the applicant’s area of expertise and elective courses within the management track of the curriculum, and mentoring of students interested in these areas of practice. Teaching load is 4/4, summer teaching optional if available.
The MLIS Program is fully accredited under the American Library Association Standards for Accreditation of Master’s Programs in Library and Information Studies.

|Required Qualifications||MLIS degree or equivalent and familiarity with online teaching.|
Professional experience in a library or information center and relevant subject master’s degree such as an MBA or MPA.
